I tripped randomly
Stumbling upon
Something resembling me
Or at least a part of me
I couldn’t really tell
Because darkness
Cried so loudly
I couldn’t think
So I covered my ears
Screaming obscenities
Asking it to stop
Finally noise deafened me
Quiet began to smother me
I looked around dis-disjointedly
Left wondering
If there were more
Broken pieces to find
