Write your own eulogy.

Sometimes all she was

Was someone we passed by

She smiled now and then

And sometimes she cried

She was one of us

Except when she wasn’t

Sometimes she was more

Many times much less

She loved like crazy

Because crazy she was

And when she laughed

She was happiest then

But at the end of the day

When all is said and done

She was just someone

Once alive now gone

This is lovely but i disagree with the last two lines. youre not just someone, and you have brightened too many lives to ever be gone, even when youre gone your heart will live on

I agree with Guap. Don’t sell yourself short. If you and your words mean so much to us, I can’t even imagine how very important you are to those who get to share each day with you in the “real world”. Another lovely poem.

Considering the subject matter, I don’t know if”Like” is appropriate…

You’re not “just someone” to so many people, and you will leave a Hasty-sized hole in a lot of hearts. The ripples would be felt for years after your passing. Ocean levels would rise from all the falling tears.
