Lately I’ve been afraid
Of being afriad
When I look in the mirror
I see myself
And km so ashamed
Living in a box
I’m just trying be free
I need freedom
And I’m too afraid to ask if you wanna come with me
I was writing from the standpoint of my life is confined inside an illusion of control. The easy flow of my life seems simple but outside factors can…at any time…scatter the sand by breaking the glass.
Kinda haunting.
nice. minimalistic and self-contained. I like it,
Thanks
Interesting… because the sand only flows if it is contained… if the glass shatters, the sand is free, but scattered.
Wow. Amaze. ing! ~Jen
Beautiful writing!
