Oh, Yes.. I see. You are right about that. My husband, Jake, has told me that before. He said, I can’t imagine never knowing love like I have with you. And of course, I feel the same. There are people who live an entire life w/o ever feeling that, and, my tender heart that loves love so deeply, just breaks for those people. But, I like to think that they have found other kind of joys that make up for it.. a positive/sweet twist on it.. ~J
So sad. You really did a nice job of understating the tragedy. I loved “eavesdropping wind” as a special phrase. I liked the whole piece. It felt like being held and being told ‘it’s gonna be alright’.
