You were my music
Sharp, crisp, and clear
So beautiful, so near
Our words collided
To create lyrics
Pleasing to every heart
Our voices combined
As one in tranquil song
It may have lasted
It could have lasted
But the notes changed
They flowed from grace
Spilling into thirsty sand
Not even heaven
Could clean the melody
From the particles
Hardening into concrete
Stranded on two opposite shores
You can no longer hear
Their musical hearts beat
DEAD MUSICAL HEARTS
You were my music
Sharp, crisp, and clear
So beautiful, so near
Our words collided
To create lyrics
Pleasing to every heart
Our voices combined
As one in tranquil song
It may have lasted
It could have lasted
But the notes changed
They flowed from grace
Spilling into thirsty sand
Not even heaven
Could clean the melody
From the particles
Hardening into concrete
Stranded on two opposite shores
You can no longer hear
Their musical hearts beat

Haha, it’s ok. You didn’t do anything wrong
. I thought it was neat that I saw this right after it had just been on my mind.
What is it that attaches us to such opposing perspectives? What could we do to take on board views which run contrary to our beliefs? What does this say of our beliefs?
