TOXIC II

Give me your toxins
I will drink them like wine
For poison cannot harm
One already cauterized
Twisted and burned
And broken inside
Bring me your hurts
Look into my eyes
And know that I have
Built resistance to this
Whoever else might falter
And fade, let me whis-
Per in your ear, I am here
I am here, you are safe
You don’t have to be
Shiny or okay or brave
Just be who you are
To thine own self be true
I will hold tight
‘Cos I’m as toxic as you.
