RAINDROP TEARS

Written by Richard Ankers and HastyWords

To lose yourself

In a puddle of rain

Image collected

Rippling in pain

To find yourself

Sitting in rust

Lips betrayed

By hollow trust

To see yourself

A ghost in the glass

Fade and return

But not too fast

To hear yourself

In a howling wind

Disembodied angst

Begging for an end

To weep as a raindrop

Flushed from the sky

Each droplet a memory

As though from your eye
